To do so, we dedicate a meaningful portion of each Smartfund gift to groups that are working to build collaboration, replicate successes across communities, and enshrine these solutions in public policy, getting to the root of why so many Americans live with food insecurity and without shelter.

When you give to a Hunger & Homelessness Smartfund through your Vanguard Charitable donor-advised fund account, you’ll receive impact reports detailing the services provided and goals met as a result of your Smartfund grant.

If you are considering recommending grants of $5,000 or more to one or more Smartfunds, you are eligible for a personal consultation with the team at Goodnation, a leader in philanthropic guidance.
