We have expedited the granting process so your grant can be put to use as quickly as possible. More information is located below the two tables.

Earthquake in Haiti

The beleaguered Caribbean nation of Haiti suffered a major catastrophic setback after a 7.2 magnitude earthquake, one more severe than the quake over 11 years ago, struck on the morning of August 14, 2021. Almost 1,300 people have been killed, hundreds have been injured, and hundreds more remain missing. The epicenter was eerily coincidental as it occurred within the same peninsula as the January 12, 2010 7.0 magnitude earthquake, which devastated the capital city of Port-au-Prince and surrounding areas, and contributed to the deaths of 200,000 people.
