Ways to respond to the crisis in Ukraine

Feb 28, 2022

Years of a diplomatic impasse between Russia and Ukraine escalated when airstrikes by the Russian Federation were launched against the capital, Kyiv, as well as other cities on the morning of Thursday, February 24, 2022. The sharp change of events has threatened to leave millions of Ukrainians displaced as they attempt to flee the country, triggering a potential large-scale humanitarian crisis. Civilians are in dire need of support for emergency evacuation, relocation, and resettlement operations.

In partnership with Charity Navigator, we are providing a list of highly rated organizations that are responding to the situation in Ukraine. Many are focused on aiding populations that are especially vulnerable in this crisis, such as children. This list is not exhaustive. Due to international granting regulations, these grants may have to follow an enhanced review process and will likely be issued in 5-7 business days.
