Disaster relief for Central Texas flooding
Jul 09, 2025
On Friday, July 4, 2025, the Guadalupe River surged to record levels, causing severe flooding in Central Texas. Kerr, Hays, and Guadalupe counties have faced evacuations, property damage, and infrastructure breakdowns. More than one hundred casualties have been reported, and many people have been displaced. In response, local and national nonprofits mobilized to support flood-impacted communities, providing food, shelter, rescue support, and long-term recovery services.
You can use your Vanguard Charitable donor-advised fund (DAF) account to support those impacted by the flooding in Central Texas. The list below, developed in partnership with Charity Navigator, includes highly rated nonprofits actively involved in disaster relief and recovery efforts in the region.
