Disaster relief for Myanmar
Apr 02, 2025
On Thursday, March 27, 2025, Myanmar experienced a series of powerful earthquakes, with the largest being a 7.7 magnitude in the Sagaing region. The earthquake caused extensive damage, collapsing buildings, triggering landslides, and disrupting communication and transport networks. Thousands of casualties have been reported, and many people have been displaced.
You can use your Vanguard Charitable donor-advised fund (DAF) account to support those impacted by the earthquake in Myanmar. The list below, developed in partnership with Charity Navigator, includes highly rated nonprofits actively involved in disaster relief and recovery efforts in the region.
