Venezuela Earthquakes Relief
Jun 29, 2026
On June 24, two powerful earthquakes struck Venezuela in quick succession, triggering tsunami warnings and causing widespread devastation across Caracas and nearby coastal communities. Buildings collapsed, critical infrastructure sustained significant damage, and search-and-rescue efforts continue as aftershocks persist throughout the region.
Thousands of people are in urgent need of medical care, clean water, food, and safe shelter. In response, local and international nonprofits are mobilizing to deliver emergency assistance, restore essential services, and support the long-term recovery and resilience of the communities most severely impacted.
You can use your Vanguard Charitable donor-advised fund (DAF) account to support impacted communities in Venezuela. The list below, developed in partnership with Charity Navigator, includes highly rated nonprofits that are actively involved in disaster relief and recovery efforts in the region.
